New Windsor Community Day will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12 PM to 8 PM. This highly anticipated event brings thousands of local residents together to celebrate community spirit with live entertainment, delicious food, family-friendly activities, and an awe-inspiring fireworks display.
A proud pillar of this day is seeing our New Windsor Heroes come to life in a special exhibit, proudly displaying their service and commitment over the years. Alongside our fun family activities, it’s important to honor their history and dedication to our town through past generations and into the future.
We also include a sensory friendly hour at Community Day, opening early (from 11am-12pm), for families who would like to experience our amusement rides in a less stimulating environment.
WILL YOU HELP US? This event is fully supported through your financial generosity and could not run without you! Our goal is to cover all event costs in order to provide this day with zero taxpayer burden. In fact, through exceeding this goal and pulling community together, other year-round Recreation programs and events will be enhanced by these funds: Senior programming, family bus trips, community concerts, out of school activities, and summer camp experiences.
