Imagine: Little Falls Park

- Little Falls Park is a unique area of over 30 acres of natural space in New Windsor’s Ducktown neighborhood with many opportunities for gathering, recreation, and enjoying the outdoors. As a site within the Quassaick Creek Greenway vision, it is currently being designed as a town park. Your voice is needed to help shape the vision for this future community space!
- On November 14th from 12-3pm, everyone is invited to explore the site, learn about the park development process, and add your vision for Little Falls as a Town park. We will be listening, gathering ideas, and sharing project updates. Site walks exploring potential future trails will also be offered. Fall refreshments and activities for all ages will be available for the family – including face painting, cider, site walks, and explorations of the natural plants and animals.
- No RSVP is required for the event. If you’d like to volunteer or learn more about the effort, please reach out to jdickinson@newwindsor-ny.gov. The Town is working to design this site as a public park with landscape architects from OLIN in partnership with Scenic Hudson and local stakeholders from the Quassaick Creek Greenway Leadership Council.
